Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) — including nurse practitioners and physician assistants — are an integral part of our otolaryngology care team. Working alongside our board-certified ENT physicians, our APPs provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions for patients of all ages.
APPs at Otolaryngology Associates undergo specialized training that goes well beyond their foundational graduate education. Through structured mentorship with our physicians, hands-on clinical experience, and continuing medical education, our APPs develop focused expertise in the subspecialty areas that matter most to our patients: pediatric otolaryngology, laryngology, rhinology, allergy and more.
Our APPs see patients independently for many visits while maintaining close collaboration with our physicians on complex or surgical cases. This team-based model allows us to offer greater appointment availability — including next-day visits — while ensuring every patient receives the specialized ENT expertise they deserve.

Billing & Insurance

OA Next Day Clinic accepts most major health insurance plans.

We do not participate in the following plans:

  • Anthem Healthkeepers
  • Kaiser
  • Cigna Connect
  • Cigna SureFit
  • Medicaid

We do not participate with any Medicaid plans. If you have Medicare and Medicaid you should find a provider that accepts both products. This includes Medicaid Community Care Products and Medicare Complete.

For all plans in which we do not participate:

You will be required to pay our charges in full at the time of service. It is your responsibility to submit claims to the insurance company for reimbursement on all office visits, testing, and procedures.

If you need to have surgery, either at an outpatient facility or in the hospital, we will verify your out-of-network benefits. If you have out-of-network benefits we will submit the claim (CMS 1500) to your insurance company, if permitted, for direct payment to our practice. However, you will be responsible for any unpaid balance, co-payments, or deductibles.
